Just watched Toy Story 3 yesterday with my brother. No, I didn't get to watch it in 3D because 1. I'm low on cash and 2. I never really see the point in watching any movie in 3D, but that's just my humble opinion.
I am not ashamed to say that I felt like a kid when I watched the movie. I gasped when the toys were in a pinch. I "aww-ed" when something aww-worthy was on the screen. I LOL-ed when there are funny scenes (OK, this happened no matter what movie I was in).
So, I have to say that I am not disappointed with the movie. As expected of any Disney movie, there are some values to the movie. From what I gathered this movie is about friendship and also loyalty.
In my opinion, I thought that this movie was not a let down. Usually, a sequel (or in this case, a triquel?) will never live up to its predecessors. This movie is filled with the usual fun-ness there is with Disney animated movies, great graphics, good storyline, excellent message and last but not least a great cast.
I definitely recommend everyone to watch this movie. It sure does bring back memories. :D
On a side note:I think that if toys in real life were really like the toys in Toy Story, mine would probably be quite miserable. I couldn't quite remember which toy that I loved when I was a kid, like Woody to Andy.
I know I played with some Barbies (hand-me-down from cousins). I think I played with the Power Rangers with my brother. Some cooking toys, some soft toys.
But, I just can't seemed to remember them properly. And when I threw/give them away, I don't think I'd ever thought twice about it - just like Andy's sister.
So, to my toys, I'm so sorry. I hope you guys turned out well and not like Lotso.
Another side note: My favorite character - definitely REX.

He's so blur and hilarious!
