The Luffy Chronicles

Today, Luffy wore clothes!

Luffy with Jack Jack's old shirt
FC's mommy gave me an old shirt from his dog (Jack Jack) to put on Luffy. It's been in a box for a week or two now and today my mommy decided to play barbie with Luffy.

Even though the shirt look two sized too small for her, she's soooooooo freaking undeniably adorable in it. It'll make you go "Awwww~" when you see her.

My brother said she looks like a smart dog. Hehe.

But we have to take it off because it's too small and it might suffocate her.

I'll put getting Luffy a cute little dress on my shopping list. :)

Awesome Read!

Uh-oh. I can totally see that my blog is on its way to its Ice Age.

Luckily there is an interesting topic to help melt the ice. :)

I'm talking about the books from Suzanne Collins: The Hunger Games Trilogy.

And next to the Harry Potter series, these books are really hard to put down. I finished a book in one day (technically it's two days, but when you minus off the sleeping hours, working hours, etc, it's less than 24 hours), that's how addictive it really is.

Not gonna give any spoilers about the book. But I am going to stress on how epicly awesome it is! I'm done with two books now. And I'm holding off reading the last book until after I finish my work. Otherwise, I'll never get things done.

It's awesome! I couldn't stress it enough.

The V-Day

V-Day went well for me! Had a great time with my boyfie, had great meals, an awesome day indeed.

First ever homemade cupcakes for my baby <3
I only made these simple things for him: four cupcakes with decoration complete with a handmade card.

In return, he gave me these awesome gifts.

A box of presents, a lollipop-box of jelly bellys from Candylicious and three "eggs"
In the box, lies this incredible watch. I love it so much.
The candy, the eggs and the watch are amazing gifts. And I love all of them. However, the one that I appreciate the most are these, scattered in the box.

All the tickets stubs of the movies we've watched before.
To think that he kept all of these is really touching. Thanks baby, even I didn't think of collecting those. xoxo

I've got these rare items too.
If you know us, you'll know that these rare items are almost impossible to get. :)

The Luffy Chronicles

Today marks the seventh day since Luffy's arrival to our home.

So, we've found a solution to the whole barking like a mad dog (literally) throughout the night problem. The solution is...

Luffy, meet blanky.
... give her an old towel. She's been busy playing with it the whole night that she forgets to bark. Hehe.

Also, she seemed to be getting used to her name already. A little bit, I think.

The only problem we have now is her toilet training. She loves to urinate and pee in the living room. I guess we can't expect her to learn everything in one week.

One step at a time, then. :)

The Fine Line

Today, I discovered that there is a very fine line between being in love and being stupid.

Right now, I feel incredibly stupid.

Aquaria KLCC :)

We're getting out of our comfort date routine of watching movie and shopping and go dating with the fishes.

It was a first experience for the both of us to the Aquaria. It was a cool experience. I became the typical tourist that took pictures of almost everything I saw with my iPhone. So, the quality of the pictures wouldn't be any good, since I'm using the iPhone 4. Pardon the 5 megapixel-ness. :) Here are some of the pictures I've taken. :)

Spot the seahorse

It's a really big fish, though you can't tell from this picture
Swordfish-ish kinda fish. LOL

Shark!

Close up shot.
Stingray - weird face. :)
Whooosh - it went

Jelly fish! So purrrty. :)
Like I said, it was a different experience. Very cool. :)

The Luffy Chronicles

Oh well, nobody told me that getting a puppy would be this tiring.

Luffy is a two-month old puppy. So, according to the Great Google (I refer to Google-sama for almost everything),  because she
  1. Feels lonely for being separated from his mother and/or siblings
  2. Feels anxiety at being left alone
  3. Wants attention/company
therefore, she had been barking/whining the whole of last night.

And, according to Google-sama, I am supposed to leave her alone so that she won't get used to getting attention every time she barked. But, what can I do when she keeps whining and whining the whole night.

So, I googled some more and that it says a ticking alarm clock might help because it sorts of represents the beating heart of its mother.

Tried that, didn't work. It might have got to do with the fact that her barks/whining is louder than the ticking. *sigh*

Another solution is to play soothing songs. Luffy seemed to have taken a liking to Chinese and Korean songs, but that doesn't seem to help either. *double sigh*

So, she spent last night whining and barking. And today she whine/bark again. *sigh*

Tonight we're gonna try a new solution. I'm gonna put her in my room. According to Google-sama, if she can see me and sense my presence, perhaps she will not feel insecure/lonely/scared, and therefore will cease to bark/whine. Hopefully!
