Despite my whole anti-Cyrus thingy going on, I am a little bit curious of the movie that she's going to be in. And also because I heard raving reviews on Nicholas Sparks' novels. So, I got a copy of the book.
One thing I've always hated was that the book cover was changed every time it was made into a movie (thankfully, Harry Potter wasn't like that). But, I couldn't find the original cover anymore, so I have to settle for this
instead of this
So, anyway, I think the book is good. I had never read any other of Nicholas Sparks' works, but I truly think that I love his style of writing.
*a little spoiler here*
This is a story about a girl who was holding a grudge on her father for leaving her, her mother and her younger brother. She became rebellious and yet, she still had that kind nature in her.
When her mother sends her and her brother to stay with her father for the summer, Ronnie (the main character) was really upset at first. Then, she learned of the true reasons that causes her father to leave them and also why her father requested for her and her brother to join him for the summer. Finally, she forgives her father and found out that she loves him very much. And she accompanies him in the remaining of his life.
Of course, throw in some romance, suspense, crime, drama, a little action and faith, it makes the book more interesting to read.
*spoilers end*
I don't know why, but in a way, I can relate myself to Ronnie. And to be honest, the book had got me thinking about my ways of handling things.
